Get It Recruit - Real Estate is Hiring a Remote Sr. Property Claims Adjuster In Fargo, ND Area - Remote | WFH

Are you looking for a career where you can truly make a difference in people's lives? We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Property Claims Representative to join our dedicated field claims team. This role is based remotely within the Fargo, ND area, including North River, ND, Moorhead, MN, and surrounding regions. While the position is remote, you'll be working in the field inspecting claims and working from home when not in the field.
What You'll DoAs a Senior Property Claims Representative, you'll be instrumental in providing a smooth, positive claims experience for our clients. You'll handle the full lifecycle of property claims, from investigation to settlement, ensuring each case is managed with care and professionalism. You'll also have the chance to work with innovative technology, including drones for property inspections and virtual claim handling software, to assist our clients effectively.
Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate and assess property claims, determining coverage and settling claims through careful evaluation and negotiation.
  • Connect with insureds, claimants, and relevant parties to gather information, obtain statements, and explain the claims process.
  • Conduct physical and virtual inspections of damaged property, evaluate damages, and prepare detailed estimates in line with policy provisions and liability.
What We're Looking For
  • Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel (or equivalents), Xactimate, and other claims estimating software is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of residential and commercial construction techniques.
  • Relevant adjuster's licensing for the states where we operate.
  • Multilingual skills are a plus.
  • Ability to work from a home office and use a mobile office/company vehicle for transportation.
  • Flexibility to work beyond standard business hours as needed.
  • Valid driver's license with the ability to drive an automobile.
  • Physical ability to inspect damage, including walking, reaching, climbing, and lifting up to 50 pounds, sometimes in challenging conditions.
  • Willingness to be called upon for catastrophic duty as required.
  • Typically requires 7 years of relevant experience or a combination of related experience, education, and training.
