Position Overview
As a Category Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our product categories to deliver competitive advantages for both our company and our customers. You'll lead the charge in developing deep insights, collaborating across teams, and implementing strategies that foster growth.
ResponsibilitiesProvide strategic market insights to company leadership and customers, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
Drive growth metrics across categories, meeting or exceeding targets.
Develop, test, and optimize product propositions and marketing concepts to boost category performance.
Create and execute long-term strategies to maximize sales and profitability.
Innovate new business approaches, increase category awareness, and implement processes for sustained performance improvement.
Utilize data analysis tools to interpret market trends and guide strategic decisions.
Lead customer line reviews, analyze results, and present findings to stakeholders.
Incorporate customer feedback to enhance overall experience and drive loyalty.
Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
2-5 years of experience in category management or a related industry.
2 years of experience in the Automotive Aftermarket industry.
Familiarity with Automotive and Aftermarket industry sources and partners.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and forecast trends.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and BI tools like Power BI or Oracle.
Ability to develop and execute strategic plans including pricing, promotion, and inventory management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder presentations.
Occasional domestic travel required (2 trips per quarter).
