We're seeking a skilled Data Analyst specializing in Supply Chain & Logistics to join our Inbound Transportation Team. This role is pivotal in managing over $500 million worth of imports annually, optimizing our supply chain operations, and driving business growth. What You'll DoDrive Efficiency: Identify opportunities for cost savings within our supply chain and implement strategic improvements. Provide Insights: Design and maintain essential reports that offer valuable business insights. Data Management: Utilize advanced analytics to manage and manipulate large datasets from diverse sources. Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process enhancement and automation to streamline operations. Visualization: Develop and maintain data models, queries, and reports using tools like Power BI or similar. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve departmental goals and enhance operational efficiency. Problem Solving: Apply quantitative analysis to solve complex challenges in transportation and logistics. Operational Support: Gain hands-on experience with our Ocean and Domestic Transportation teams to understand and optimize inbound logistics. What We're Looking ForEducation & Experience: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain/Logistics, Information Systems, or a related field. 0-3 years of relevant experience. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must; familiarity with SQL, R, or Python is preferred. Data Visualization: Experience with tools like Power BI or Tableau is advantageous. Analytical Mindset: Passion for leveraging data to drive business decisions and optimize processes. Communication Skills: Strong ability to communicate findings effectively to various stakeholders. Adaptability: Willingness to stay updated with industry trends and adapt to changes in a dynamic environment.
