Position SummaryWe are seeking a skilled professional to lead our global supply chain operations. This role involves optimizing supply chain strategies and operations while overseeing a talented team of supply chain experts.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and mentor a supply chain team to achieve inventory and customer service goals.
- Improve the flow of goods from suppliers to manufacturing and from manufacturing to customers using lean principles.
- Collaborate across departments to ensure timely new product launches while aligning with consumer needs and minimizing obsolescence.
- Identify and implement system and process improvements to manage cost volatility and enhance operational performance.
- Monitor supply chain KPIs and utilize data-driven insights to drive ongoing improvements.
- Develop an agile and responsive manufacturing network.
- Participate in acquisition or divestiture activities and assist with budgeting and reporting efforts.
- Conduct training sessions to enhance team productivity and accuracy.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or a related field is required; an MBA is preferred. A minimum of 8 years of experience in the pharma, life sciences, or capital equipment sectors, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. CSCP certification is desirable.
- Expertise in supplier relationship management, strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and budget planning, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and master production scheduling. Familiarity with Syteline is a plus.
- Strong leadership, communication, and influencing skills with the ability to manage complex projects effectively.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, ISO-9000) and experience in project management.
