Are you passionate about logistics and supply chain management? We have an incredible opportunity in Philadelphia, PA, for a dynamic individual to join our team. This full-time position offers a hybrid work model, allowing you to work remotely part of the time and at our client site in Northeast Philadelphia for the rest.
What You'll Be DoingAs a key member of our team, you will provide essential support to the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Readiness Division at Troop Support. Your responsibilities will include:
Facilitating orders and troubleshooting any issues in the ordering process.
Compiling, editing, and submitting regular reports.
Providing recommendations for product sourcing.
Resolving logistical and supply chain issues efficiently.
Utilizing IT applications to manage contingency contracts effectively.
Building and maintaining relationships with DLA vendors.
Actively promoting the DLA Readiness program to potential new vendors.
Using various systems to assess requirements, analyze data, and implement system changes.
Supporting current and future medical readiness projects with technical, analytical, and administrative expertise.
Job RequirementsA Bachelor's degree in any discipline and a minimum of 5 years' experience in logistics or supply chain management, particularly in medical logistics.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Proficiency in Excel and experience with federal contract management.
Willingness to travel occasionally for material inventory counts at CONUS locations.
Physical ability to sit or stand for extended periods, perform computer tasks, and occasionally lift up to 25lbs.
