What You'll Do
Generate Leads: Use your sales skills to discover new customers and drive business growth.
Negotiate Pricing: Work with carriers to secure the best transportation solutions at the best prices.
Manage Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with our customers, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.
Freight Management: Utilize AS400 and EDI systems to manage freight efficiently and effectively.
Collaborate: Work with supply chain partners to streamline transportation processes and optimize shipments.
Plan and Coordinate: Ensure shipments are planned and coordinated to meet client requirements seamlessly.
Drive Sales: Conduct inside sales activities to expand our business.
What We're Looking For
Sales Expertise: Proven experience in lead generation and carrier sales.
Negotiation Skills: Strong ability to negotiate pricing strategies.
Customer Focus: Proficiency in managing customer relationships to build long-term partnerships.
Technical Skills: Familiarity with AS400, EDI systems, and transportation planning tools.
Logistics Knowledge: Understanding of supply chain operations and logistics best practices.
