Drive material requirements planning to shape procurement strategies and operations effectively.
Generate material requirement signals and partner with Sourcing and Procurement teams to implement material acquisition strategies.
Manage the mission-by-mission Clear to Build process, ensuring real-time visibility into material supply and demand alignment across Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Test, and Launch functions.
Develop strategies for material allocation based on company priorities and supply conditions.
Quantify material forecasts to inform immediate and medium-term material acquisition strategies.
Participate in developing Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) systems and processes within Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems to enhance end-to-end planning operations.
What Excites UsBachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain/operations management, or equivalent experience.
2-10 years of experience in Material Planning, Demand Planning, or Fulfillment Planning within fast-paced manufacturing, aerospace, or similar industries.
Proficiency in Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) systems such as SAP, Oracle, LN, or Costpoint ERP, including material attributes, demand/supply management, and MRP environment inputs.
Strong understanding of MRP/SAP functionality related to materials/demand planning.
Ability to capture material demand accurately and maintain real-time visibility into supply sources and levels.
Intermediate Excel skills for data manipulation, integration support, and report generation.
Experience working collaboratively across functions, including with Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, Accounting, Quality, and Executive Management.
