We are seeking a dedicated Program Manager to oversee our Contracted Transportation Services. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the seamless delivery of public transit services through our contracted partners. You'll be responsible for managing service quality, compliance with contractual obligations, and budgetary considerations to enhance customer satisfaction. Essential DutiesAs the Program Manager, you will provide day-to-day oversight of transit services provided by contractors. This includes monitoring performance against contractual metrics, conducting data-driven analyses, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues promptly. You will also develop and implement improvement strategies to optimize service delivery and customer experience.
ResponsibilitiesCoordinate the delivery of public transit services in compliance with contractual standards and budgetary constraints.
Monitor and evaluate contractor performance, identifying and addressing any deviations from agreed-upon metrics.
Investigate customer complaints to ensure timely and satisfactory resolutions, fostering positive public relations.
Utilize knowledge of regulatory requirements to guide contractors in adhering to federal, state, and local policies.
Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations to track contract performance and support decision-making processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency and service effectiveness.
Represent the organization in public meetings and regional forums, advocating for improved transportation services.
RequirementsMinimum of two years' experience in transit planning, operations, or customer service.
Five years' experience in contract management or oversight.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Strong verbal and written communication skills with a focus on customer service.
Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions under pressure.
Preferred SkillsFamiliarity with transit operations and service planning.
Knowledge of federal procurement rules and contracting guidelines.
