ResponsibilitiesYour responsibilities will include providing acquisition logistics management support services to ensure the efficient delivery of acquisition services in line with our customer's mission. Some of the services you'll be involved in include: Providing leadership, analytical support, and tactical subject matter expertise to logistics initiatives Assisting customers in reviewing and updating DoD product support policies Contributing to high-level strategic planning, policy/process/procedures development, and business process improvements Participating in customer meetings and workshops by offering briefing, review, and facilitation support Supporting decision-making sessions and workshops Offering subject matter expertise during proposal development QualificationsRequired: Active Secret clearance Bachelor's degree Ten (10) years of related acquisition logistics experience, with at least two (2) years in a leadership position Functional expertise in life cycle logistics Experience with weapon system sustainment planning and execution, product support management, sustaining engineering, and depot maintenance planning Knowledge of Supply Chain Management at the wholesale and/or retail level Familiarity with the acquisition lifecycle and required sustainment planning during each phase Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team Ability to lead a collaborative team in completing complex projects Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Advanced Microsoft Office skills for Word, PowerPoint, Excel Ability to travel up to 10% DesiredTechnical or business-related Master's Degree Clear understanding of the DoD acquisition and sustainment organizations at various levels Familiarity with the DoD's Integrated Product Support Element structure and definitions DOD Acquisition Certification (DAWIA) Level III for Life Cycle Logistics Knowledge of the DoD Product Support Business Case Analysis Process/Guidance and the DoD Independent Logistics Assessment Process/Guidance Familiarity with the requirements of the DoD Product Support Managers Guidebook and the process for developing Life Cycle Sustainment Plans Experience working with Microsoft Access, Project, and Visio Company OverviewWe're a team dedicated to making a positive impact every day across various sectors including Defense, Citizen Services, and Transportation.
