Get It Recruit - Transportation is Hiring a Remote Senior Buyer -- Remote | WFH
Key ResponsibilitiesAct as the main point of contact for creating RFQs, sourcing, negotiation, and contracting to facilitate the end-to-end procurement process.
Prepare and issue RFP/RFQs, evaluate suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery, and recommend the best-suited suppliers to meet business requirements.
Serve as a liaison between Finance and leadership stakeholders to track procurement metrics and spending.
Develop various contracting types for major procurement activities, negotiate terms and conditions, and identify opportunities for process improvements.
Core QualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
5 years of experience as a buyer and/or planner in a manufacturing environment, preferably in aerospace or defense.
Proficiency in interpreting and applying relevant policies and regulations.
Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach, including setting and tracking key program metrics.
Legal authorization to work in the United States, with US citizenship required for this role.
