Do you have a passion for building strong relationships and scoring winning deals for high-quality materials?
We're a leading provider of defense and technology solutions, looking for a talented Supply Chain Purchasing Manager to join our team!
In This Role, You'll BeThe Supplier Whisperer: Develop and manage relationships with key suppliers to get the best possible deals on materials.
The Cost Control Champion: Implement sourcing strategies to keep material costs in check and ensure a steady supply.
The Optimization Ace: Streamline the procurement process and drive continuous improvement across the board.
The Production Partner: Work closely with Production Planning to ensure we have the materials we need, when we need them.
The Quality Advocate: Collaborate with Quality Assurance to make sure everything we source meets the highest standards.
We're Looking For Someone WithA bachelor's degree (or 5-10 years of relevant experience can substitute).
5-10 years of experience crushing it in purchasing and supply chain management.
5-10 years of proven leadership skills.
A strong understanding of purchasing best practices and quality assurance systems.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
Knowledge of relevant regulations (FAR/DFAR a plus).
Experience in the aerospace, military, or similar industry (a plus).
Bonus Points If You HaveExperience with fixed pricing agreements and vendor-managed inventory.
Knowledge of electronics or mechanics.
