We're seeking a dynamic Supply Planning Manager to take charge of our supply planning processes. This role is crucial in ensuring that our materials and finished goods are efficiently planned, replenished, and delivered on time. You'll lead a team of planners, collaborate with various departments, and manage our supply chain to meet service and financial goals.
Responsibilities

We're seeking a dynamic Supply Planning Manager to take charge of our supply planning processes. This role is crucial in ensuring that our materials and finished goods are efficiently planned, replenished, and delivered on time. You'll lead a team of planners, collaborate with various departments, and manage our supply chain to meet service and financial goals.
Responsibilities
- Lead Supply Planning: Oversee and direct production planning and purchasing activities for finished goods and direct materials.
- Develop Strategies: Create and implement sourcing strategies for finished goods and manage inventory levels to ensure targets are met.
- Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and develop a team of planners. Handle hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Optimize Inventory: Analyze demand variability, lead times, and replenishment strategies to maintain optimal stocking levels and develop effective replenishment plans.
- Collaborate and Communicate: Work closely with the Supply Planning team, Manufacturing, Finance, and Distribution to address capacity constraints and ensure alignment with production plans.
- Monitor and Adjust: Review replenishment requirements, adjust plans as needed, and execute order actions to support inventory goals.
- Reporting and Metrics: Develop and report on department metrics to drive continuous improvement and support special projects as needed.
- Experience: Proven track record in supply chain management, including advanced proficiency in MRP and DRP systems.
- Skills: Strong organizational, prioritization, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and make informed decisions.
- Detail-Oriented: High attention to accuracy and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office Suite tools.
- Leadership: Experience in supervising, coaching, and developing team members.
