OverviewJoin a dynamic team that focuses on supply chain optimization and Transportation Management Systems (TMS) solutions. We are looking for a skilled professional with Blue Yonder experience to enhance client performance and deliver innovative logistics solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Collaboration: Engage with clients to assess their needs, challenges, and opportunities. Provide customized solutions and implement the Blue Yonder TMS application to meet their requirements.
- Solution Development: Create detailed plans for TMS implementations and continuous improvements, leveraging knowledge of transportation standards and best practices.
- Project Management: Oversee client projects to ensure successful outcomes. Produce functional design documents, configure and execute designs within Blue Yonder TMS, and maintain progress through effective communication.
- Technical and Functional Expertise: Utilize both functional and technical knowledge of TMS, including carrier modes configuration, APIs, and various systems like ERP and shipping management.
- Relationship Building: Develop strong client relationships through consistent communication and participation in project meetings to ensure needs are met and deliverables are achieved.
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years in transportation management, with a solid understanding of transportation concepts, freight rates, and logistics processes. Proficient in Blue Yonder TMS and its product suite.
- Technical Skills: Experience in configuring carrier modes, working with APIs (SOAP and REST), and understanding systems such as SQL, XML, JSON, and electronic interfacing methods.
- Industry Knowledge: Demonstrated expertise in supply chain processes with a familiarity of connected fleet management technology being a plus.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of effective presentations and client engagement.
- Attributes: Highly organized, analytical, and adept at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Location: This is a remote role open to candidates across the US.
- Travel: Willing to travel up to 35% for client engagements, including overnight stays.
