Job OverviewThis is a Summer internship that extends into the Fall 2024. The intern supports Getinge customers in the US and preferred to support the majority of East Coast customers. The Intern will work with the department Supervisors while reporting to the Senior Manager. Works closely with Getinge US Sales and Service teams, Taxation, Finance, Customer Service and Sales Support as well as Getinge’s Shared Service Organization in Krakow, Poland.
Job Responsibilities And Essential Duties
- Assist with obtaining copies of customer invoices, statements and delivery documents.
- Help research open collection items and disputes
- Research new customers and collect source documents to be reviewed by senior analyst.
- Review customer aging items and report back to credit specialist with findings
- Obtain customer contact information to send invoices and follow up on past due items.
- Understanding the cash process for Getinge, identify over payment and assist in handling over payment
- Learning the Getinge Contracts process
- Learning the company ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) System SAP
- Interacts with all levels of internal departments both Field Sales and Service Departments, Getinge Customers, and Getinge Shared Service Department in Krakow, Poland
- Currently pursuing an Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree
- Strong organizational and follow up skills
- Ability to learn administrative tasks
- Experience working in a customer service environment with preferably exposure to the order management and purchasing
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
