Our busy hotel, the Candlewood Suites Orlando Lake Buena Vista, is looking for a stellar director of sales to create a revenue strategy that maximizes profitability for everyday sales. We need someone ready to be the voice of our brand and manage the budget to enable the development of property-specific campaigns, promotions, and collateral to generate revenue and meet property targets. Responsibilities:- Build customer loyalty while generating new revenue by developing long-term relationships
- Utilize marketing campaigns, telemarketing, e-commerce, site visits, and other techniques to continuously seek new business
- Produce accurate sales reports that include marketing budgets, current market share, direct sales, and outline marketing strategies
- Evaluate market trends to determine pricing to balance costs, competition, and supply and demand
- Meet sales team goals and yearly sales targets, develop and implement short and long-term marketing strategies
- This position requires a high school diploma or GED, and a bachelor’s degree in marketing or hospitality being preferred
- Thorough knowledge of marketing strategies and best practices for a sales department
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Computer skills are needed for this position, including knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Prior hotel sales experience
