Responsibilities
•Build customer loyalty while generating new revenue by developing long-term relationships
•Utilize marketing campaigns, telemarketing, e-commerce, site visits, and other techniques to continuously seek new business
•Produce accurate sales reports that include marketing budgets, current market share, direct sales, and outline marketing strategies
•Evaluate market trends to determine pricing to balance costs, competition, and supply and demand
•Meet sales team goals and yearly sales targets, develop and implement short and long-term marketing strategies
Qualifications
•Prior hotel sales experience
•This position requires a high school diploma or GED, and a bachelor's degree in marketing or hospitality being preferred
•Thorough knowledge of marketing strategies and best practices for a sales department
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•Computer skills are needed for this position, including knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
