Internal Title: Associate Scientist
Duration: 12-month contract
Location: Cambridge, MA
Responsibilities:
- Production and analytical characterization of AAV vector using mammalian cell culture
- Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot protocols for AAV production processes
- Maintain organized and detailed electronic records, submitted in a timely manner
- Report data to team members through written reports and direct collaboration
Qualifications:
- BS/MS degree in Biochemistry, Biology or related field with 1-3 years of industry experience
- Hands-on experience with adherent or suspension mammalian cell culture, proficiency in aseptic techniques and proven capacity to develop, optimize and troubleshoot new protocols and methods
- Experience with basic molecular and analytical techniques such as PCR based assays, plasmid preparation and gel electrophoresis
