Supplier Quality Engineer – Westford, MA
MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ON A W2
Job Summary: The Supplier Quality Engineer will be responsible for ensuring supplier and vendor compliance with quality standards, addressing issues on the manufacturing line, and collaborating with suppliers to resolve quality issues. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, at least 2 years of experience in manufacturing, and a background in medical devices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing working with suppliers/vendors
- Experience in process validation including IQ, OQ, and PQ
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with suppliers/vendors
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with suppliers/vendors to resolve quality issues
- Lead corrective action processes with suppliers/vendors
- Manage process change
- Conduct CAPA investigations
- Stay motivated and proactive in learning and executing task
Term & Start
- 8 month contract
- FT, M-F 40hr/week
- Pay Rate: $35-40/hr ($70-80K Annually)
- Onsite in Westford, MA
