GH Advertising's staffing client is seeking a Digital Project Specialist for a leader in the print, promotional marketing and technology industry. This is a full-time onsite role conveniently located near downtown Pittsburgh.

• Oversees a project from the initial phase of reviewing client requirements to the final stages of production and distribution.
• Acts as the internal manager of information and the central point of contact on all print and web projects for specific clients.
• Evaluates the scope of each project and manages the efficient progress of deliverables through the organization, from briefing through production of files, development, proofing/quality control and press checking to delivery.
• Serves as the frontline communicator with clients, prospects, vendors and team members to facilitate the solving of client challenges and to ensure projects run accurately and smoothly through the project lifecycle.
  • Internally works with graphic designers, development, production, accounting, business development and management.
  • Externally works with clients and vendors to establish accounts, develop estimates, create schedules, competitively bid jobs, select vendors, manage all necessary approvals, and ensure quality control.
• Responsible for Digital Production activities for named accounts.
• Ensure client requests are produced in a timely manner, while meeting Ditto’s quality standards.
• Serve as the key contact for all matters related to assigned and house accounts.
• Develop relationships with new customers and grow relationships with existing customers.
• Responsible for delivering work in a timely and accurate manner to Ditto’s clients via traditional prepress methods and Print on Demand systems.
• Preparation of electronic files for digital print, email blast, print on demand and web related services.
• Ensure all graphic elements are consistent across all production files.
• Follow expected quality control measures into production workflow for all services.
• Monitor Ditto’s Solution inbox and gather detailed project requirements.
• Manage projects from initiation to completion:
  • Manage incoming requests from the client or Ditto Leadership to gather requirements and ensure appropriate costing and estimating.
  • Define with client the project’s strategy, goals, and objectives and present a summary for review and approval.
  • Direct project work and coordinate with internal departments while following process and procedure.
  • Act as the point of contact and communicate weekly status updates, keeping key project members informed throughout the project.
  • Ensure that clients’ needs are met as projects evolve. Ensure project documentation is up to date and reflects the evolving requirements.
  • Ensure standards and requirements are met through conducting quality assurance tests.
  • Ensure timely and successful delivery of projects according to customer specifications.
• Follow up on customer interactions and resolve customer related issues.
• Following established department policies and procedures including communicating via appropriate channels.

Requirements

• Job Type: Full Time Employee
• Years of Experience: 2 years’ experience working in either web or print design and customer service.
• Education Level: BA or equivalent in Graphic Design or technical school diploma in prepress
• Overall understanding of Ditto’s product offerings and toolset which include digital/offset printing, file management, fulfillment, basic HTML, email blast (campaigns), Print On Demand systems (XMPie) and other associated services. Proficient in the following software packages: Adobe CS, XES Web Services, XMPIE, Microsoft Office (Excel, Access), Bulk Mailer or mail software equivalent and familiarity with high volume production file processing.
• Must have well rounded knowledge of Direct Mail regulation and USPS standards.
• Strong file assembly skills.
• Ability to recognize press characteristics as they relate to file preparation for printing.
