Job Description:

We are seeking skilled and motivated Commercial Construction/Maintenance Workers to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial construction and maintenance, with a strong work ethic and a commitment to safety and quality. Their goals are to provide maintenance and repair services on retail, industrial, office, and multi-family properties.

Key Responsibilities on the Job:

· Perform construction, repair, and maintenance work on commercial properties.

· Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.

· Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance.

· Directly or indirectly support all exterior grounds activities, including snow removal, landscaping, grounds keeping, parking lot maintenance and other exterior areas as needed.

· Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget.

· Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.

· Troubleshoot and repair issues as they arise.

· Perform painting, carpentry and minor electrical and plumbing repairs.

· Directly or indirectly support the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC, electrical, plumbing systems, and water distribution, including fire suppression.

· Competent knowledge of OSHA safety standards, the use and care of tools and equipment used in facilities and grounds maintenance and property repairs.

· Interact with tenants, visitors, customers, governmental officials, and contractors in a professional, timely and courteous manner.

· Respond to tenant/manager work requests using Work Order Management system.

· Respond immediately to emergency situations and Tenant/Customer/Client concerns.

· On call rotation for after normal business hours emergencies.

· Perform all work to industry standards and always maintain a professional manner and appearance.

· Perform other duties as may be assigned by supervisor.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Ability to communicate effectively.

· Enthusiastic team player

· Works with a sense of urgency

· Minimum of 18 years of age

· 2 year’s maintenance or related experience

· HVAC certification is a plus but not a requirement

· Proficient computer, email, and smartphone skills

· Self-starter with ability to complete tasks in a timely manner

· Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 80 lbs. and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, climb, kneel and balance as part of performing job tasks.

· Proficiency with hand and power tools

· Basic math skills such as adding, subtracting, fraction decimals, percentages, etc.

· Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

· Valid Driver’s License and good driving record
