Job Description

DJM Design is currently seeking a VDC Manager / BIM Coordinator to join our team at our Schwenksville, PA office.

You will create Building Information Models (BIM) drawings from engineering documents. You will coordinate drawings and work closely with assigned Project Managers and clients.

** This role will be on-site **

What we are looking for:

· A People person that can hold virtual coordination / command kick off meetings with clients to resolve issues and build relationships.

· Extensive experience with Blueprints, are general experience with a strong willingness to learn. Having 2 years Blueprint experience will be suitable to perform well in this role.

· A robust understanding of the construction management process.

· Understand the BIM Execution Plan and manage coordination schedules.

· Extensive experience with reading and understanding Blueprints/drawings.

· Generate Navisworks files from CAD/Revit files for BIM coordination.

· Manage day to day VDC/BIM tasks like clash detection to ensure smooth workflows.

Education or Experience:

· 3 to 5 years’ experience using BIM Processes and coordination a plus

· 1 year of Experience in Project Management

· Revit and AutoCAD design experience a plus.
