Individuals rely on Giardina & French for tax planning, sophisticated return preparation, self-employment issues, charitable gifting, family estate and gift planning, retirement planning, and advice on the myriad of financial issues that arise in the course of business and family affairs.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Answer and direct phone calls
  • Organize and schedule meetings/appointments
  • Maintain contact lists
  • Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
  • Organize and distribute all tax related documents that come to the firm
  • Develop and maintain a filing system
  • Collaborate with the office manager in ordering supplies
  • Provide general support to visitors
  • Assemble electronic and paper tax returns
  • Keep track of and distribute quarterly estimated tax payments
  • Manage company marketing

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Ability to problem-solve and think both creatively and logically
  • Ability to grasp concepts quickly and demonstrate knowledge of basic technical skills, as well as related knowledge of necessary systems and procedures
  • A demonstrated ability to self-direct and effectively organize, prioritize and manage multiple engagements under tight deadlines
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills fostering client and internal relationships
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and written/verbal communication skills
  • Effective listening skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines with accuracy
  • The ideal candidate will be detail and process-oriented with a high level of professionalism
  • Proficient in MS Office Excel
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work as a team player within a fast-paced environment
  • Strong ability to identify and resolve discrepancies and exceptions
  • College degree, preferably in a related major
