Job Title: Dental Assistant

Job Type: Full-time

Job Description:

Gibbs Dentistry is a well-established family dental practice in New Bern, NC . Our busy practice is looking for a mature, motivated, caring and organized Dental Assistant who can assist the doctors with all procedures, take digital x-rays, assist in treatment planning, as well as other clinical duties. Eaglesoft experience a plus, but not required. Excellent communication skills a must.

Job Type: Full-time; 32-36 hours per week

Experience:

Dental assisting experience preferred but will train

Skills: Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods

  • Well-organized and reliable
  • High school diploma; graduating from dental assistant school is preferred

License/Certification:

  • X-ray Certification (Required)

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a busy dental practice
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Proficiency in computer software programs such as Microsoft Office and electronic health/dental software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
