Project Coordinator
Gibson Plumbing Company, established in 1954, is a full service residential and multifamily plumbing company serving San Antonio, Austin, Dallas, Houston and surrounding areas providing quality plumbing services.
Gibson Plumbing Company is currently seeking a detailed-oriented Project Coordinator in our Dallas (Garland/Plano) location to assist the Project Manager in the completion of multiple tasks.
The ideal candidate is well organized, excellent multi tasker, is a self-starter, attentive to meeting deadlines with excellent communication and people skills.
Primary Responsibilities
- Drawing review, changes, and storage
- Liaison between field and purchasing to ensure material deliveries are being scheduled and delivered on time
- Track equipment on job sites
- Request, track and update material submittals
- Assist PMs with materials and labor quotes for Change Orders
- Assist PMs with gathering and distributing information (manuals, installation instructions, cut sheets, Safety sheets, etc.)
- Financial preparations for project manager
Job Requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proper phone etiquette
- Proficient to accuracy, attention to detail, problem solving, organization, and the expertise to prioritize and balance multi-tasks on a tight schedule
- Computer literacy to include intermediate to advanced aptitude in Outlook, Microsoft Office
- Ability to maintain high job standards possessing initiative and working efficiently to complete assigned tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of construction and plumbing is extremely helpful but not required
