At G D Currency Technology, Region EU and LATAM in the department Regional Sales, we are looking for a Regional Sales Director CB/PW Sales (m/f/d).As Regional Sales Director CB/PW Sales you are responsible of all sales activities within the Central Bank and Printworks market in the defined countries. You continuously aim to identify new sales opportunities and business in the sector, by managing all customers and key accounts.
Your responsibilities:
  • Regional complex sales activities for CB/PW by performing the sales with customers and key accounts
  • Strong and dynamic leadership of Currency Products and Services sales within EU sales region in coordination with the Head of Sales – Central Banks/Printworks
  • Face-to-the-customer during entire sales process
  • Management of key accounts to ensure continuous contact with most relevant customers, building long-term partnerships
  • Generation of leads through networking, identification for upselling potential in current customers and customer relationship management
  • Communication of new business opportunities to regional management
  • Identification of general customer needs of each CB/PW customer based on a structured and mostly standardized format
  • Translation of customer needs into concrete requirements with internal departments and customer involvement
  • Bundling of requirements into customer-needed solution offer with defined scope of solution as well as respective price tag and further required resources/ investments
  • Management of transfer from pre-sales to sales phase
  • Responsibility for performing deal negotiations with customers regarding defined CB/PW order
  • Close deals and sign sales and maintenance contracts with direct customers
  • Accurate reporting of Order Income, revenues, and forecast of sales activities in Salesforce
  • Develop an account strategy for a 3-5 years view
  • Monitoring allocated Solutions Sales target for the region
  • Close collaboration and coordination with sales colleagues for Commercial Market
Your qualifications:
  • University degree (e.g. master degree, MBA, PhD, etc.) in engineering, consumer science or business
  • 6 years overall sales management experience within CB/PW market
  • 6 years of relevant professional experience
  • Experience in Pipeline Development and Go-to-market planning and execution
  • Ideally a Key Account Management Experience with Governmental Sectors
  • A pro-active result-driven self-starter who can operate both individually and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Experience with direct sales and distributor management, ideally in the Public Sector
  • Business fluent language skills in English and Spanish. Additional other languages skills may be taken into consideration
  • International work experience
  • Candidate must be willing to travel extensively within the sales region
