Job SummaryThe Information Systems Support and Asset Technician will perform the day-to-day IT department tasks while ensuring compliance with cybersecurity guidelines and industry best practices. This position is focused on delivering exceptional end user support, responding in a timely manner to workstation, software or hardware technical issues. Additionally, the Information Systems Support and Asset Technician will manage deployed technology assets, both internally and deployed in the Community.

Job SummaryThe Information Systems Support and Asset Technician will perform the day-to-day IT department tasks while ensuring compliance with cybersecurity guidelines and industry best practices. This position is focused on delivering exceptional end user support, responding in a timely manner to workstation, software or hardware technical issues. Additionally, the Information Systems Support and Asset Technician will manage deployed technology assets, both internally and deployed in the Community.
Primary Job Duties
- Provision, install, operate, and maintain hardware, software and related deployed infrastructure.
- Support, maintain and upgrade client machines, assets and deployed devices.
- Monitor and verify the integrity and availability of all hardware, deployed resources and end-user devices.
- Configure end-user workstations utilizing automated workflows, Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Autopilot, Addigy, and similar applications.
- Provide first-line technical support to users experiencing IT-related issues.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot user based hardware, software, network, and system problems.
- Resolve issues remotely, over the phone, or in person.
- Follow department procedures and establish new procedures as needed.
- Provide reports and analytics to management.
- Assist employees with IT hardware, software, and configuration issues.
- Maintain accurate records of IT support requests, issues, and resolutions in a ticketing system.
- Document configurations, installations, and network setups.
- Maintain an inventory of IT assets, including tracking equipment usage and lifecycle.
- Assist in procuring new IT equipment and software as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Provision, install, operate, and maintain hardware and software, primarily related to Apple MacOS and Android tablets using Apple Business Manager, and or Addigy.
- Support, maintain, and upgrade inventory of public IT assets identified for Community use.
- Image machines utilizing various technologies, including DeepFreeze and/or Fog.
- Monitor and verify the integrity and availability of all hardware, resources, systems, and key processes.
- Maintain hardware inventory and software library licenses.
- Strong knowledge of inventory and asset management.
- Experience with MacOS, iOS, Android, Windows 10 and Windows 11 platforms.
- Knowledge of PC imaging techniques, such as Autopilot, DeepFreeze and SmartDeploy.
- Experience with Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Entra and Microsoft Office365 highly desired.
- Knowledge of enterprise security best practices and policies.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Comfortable working in a focused, dynamic, fast-paced team environment.
- Ability to participate in project teams to define, analyze and meet organizational needs.
- Strong attention to detail and effective problem-solving skills.
- Basic understanding of communication systems, TCP/IP, LAN/WAN/WiFi network architectures, VLANs, IP addressing and switching.
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in IT or related field and/or 1-2 years of experience working in an Information Systems or Information Technology role.

- Must be able to use hands, to sit, lift up to 20 lbs., stoop, bend, reach with hands/arms.
- Must be able to drive to various locations as needed.
- Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
- Requires the ability to speak, read, write, see, and hear to perform essential duties of the job. Must communicate clearly in English.
- Must be able to perform and complete multiple tasks.
- Will be asked to provide 39 months driving record. Position requires insurability under GRTI insurer requirements.
- Will be required to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
