Responsibilities
- Design and implement an enterprise data model in partnership with the data engineering team (ETL Development) and business stakeholders, with a focus on scalable data models organized around logical business entities.
- Develop API based integrations, ensuring efficient data flow and storage. This involves working with technologies like Boomi, SQL Server, Azure Data Lake, Data Bricks, Snowflake etc. Various software APIs.
- Develop and optimize ETL processes including extracting data from source systems, transforming it into a usable format, and loading it into the target storage.
- Create and maintain data pipelines that facilitate the flow of data from various sources to Data warehouse or other storage systems.
- Implement process to ensuring data quality and integrity. Responsibilities include validating and cleansing data to maintain its quality and integrity.
- Experience designing enterprise data models for warehousing and data marts that drive reporting, data science environments, organized around logical entities.
- Experience developing integrations using APIs. Boomi experience best, mulesoft also good, experience with other API integration development will do.
- Experience owning or working in an enterprise data governance program a big plus
- 5 years’ experience in a prior role
- Experience designing and implementing an enterprise master data model for a medium sized organization.
- Experience designing and building out API based data integrations with a middleware platform such as Boomi, Mulesoft, or the like.
- Experience implementing python workflows in azure using airflow.
- Trained in SAFe methodology.
- Bachelor’s degree
- Master’s Degree preferred with a focus in Computer science, data engineering / architecture / systems.
For Richmond, VA this ranges from $128,000.00 - $176,000.00 plus benefits and retirement program.
For Providence, RI and Glastonbury, CT this ranges from $135,000.00 - $184,000.00 plus benefits and retirement program.
For Arlington, VA and Boston, MA this ranges from $150,000.00 - $ 205,000.00 plus benefits and retirement program.
