**REPORTS TO:** General Manger/Manager/Assistant Manager

**FLSA STATUS:** Non-Exempt

**SCHEDULE DETAILS:** Full Time and Part Time Rotating Schedule. Day Shift, Night Shift, Weekends

**DEPARTMENT:** Front of House

**COMPENSATION:** $9 - $12 per hour

**LICENSE:** Food Handlers and Basic Liquor Law & Server Certification Course

**WORK AUTHORIZATION:** United States (Required)

**SUMMARY**: We are looking for a skilled and friendly waiter/waitress to join our team! This position plays a big role in creating and providing the best customer experience and satisfaction. Your ultimate goal should be to provide an exceptional guest experience.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**

* Provide excellent customer services

* Complying with responsible alcohol service guidelines

* Always strive towards best customer satisfaction

* Greet customers and present menus

* Make suggestions based on their preferences

* Take and serve food/ non-alcohol drink orders

* Up-sell when appropriate

* Arrange table settings

* Keep tables clean and tidy at all times

* Check products for quality

* Deliver checks and collect payments

* Cooperate and communicate with all serving and kitchen staff

* Adhere to all relevant health department rules/regulations and all customer service guidelines

* Keep up with glassware needed for tap wall

* Assist customers with the tap wall when necessary

**Desired Minimum Qualifications:**

* 1 year of experience as a server

* Experience with developing a constructive working and interpersonal relationships with colleagues and customers

* 1 year of experience with a cash register and any ordering information system

* Critical thinker and problem-solving skills

* Team player

* Good time-management skills

* Great interpersonal and communication skills

* Active listening

* Good physical condition

* Customer-centric

* Food safety training will be considered a plus

* Beer and wine knowledge a plus

* Able to work in a fast-paced environment

* Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently

* Physical endurance to stand and move for an entire shift

* Self-motivated and self-directed

* Able to quickly memorize complex or multiple orders

* High school degree or equivalent

* Legally able to work in establishments which serve alcohol

* Able to work early mornings, nights, and weekends

* Physically able to stand and move during the length of shift; able to bend and kneel through shift; able to lift up to 25 pounds or more

* Must pass a background check

* Able to read and write
