Your role

We offer a 6-month Intern-Analyst position in our Life Sciences team with start in Q4 2024 in our Munich office (DE).

You will work on dedicated projects, primarily related to new investment opportunities. You will participate in due diligence, assessment of scientific and product development plans, analysis of markets and competitive environments, evaluating and benchmarking business models, and landscaping of therapeutic areas/indications.

As an intern you will support the team throughout the full process of new investment opportunities, and will also have the ability to:

• Become familiar with industry standard research engines and databases
• Develop your investment and financial analysis skills
• Gain industry insights through close collaboration with our experts
• Develop your soft skills and network through internal and external meetings

Your background

• Sound interest in life sciences innovation
• Recently graduated with a MSc or MD, PhD/post-doc in biomedical sciences, medicine, pharmacology or similar or have had a first relevant working experience in pharma, biotech, investment banking, life science consulting, etc.
• Outstanding analytical skills with the ability to understand the scientific and business aspects of life sciences and translate them into investment opportunities.
• Outstanding English communication skills both verbally and in writing, with the ability to present complex issues concisely and to adapt communication style to different audiences.
• Result-oriented team player, self-driven and passionate individual with a strong work ethic
