Weekend Program Coordinator Part Time

Weekend Program Coordinator

This position provides support and guidance to residential colleagues and assists in the supervising, planning, coordinating and development of weekend programming activities for students.

Schedule:

The Weekend Hours are Friday – Sunday. The Weekend Program 2024/2025 is tentatively scheduled for October 4, 2024.

Friday – 4:00 pm – 12:00 am

Saturday - 12:00 pm – 8:00 pm

Sunday - 10:00 am – 6:00 pm

Essential Expectations of Girard College Weekend Program Coordinator (Weekend Program) Include but Are Not Limited to: 

• Participate in Residential Leadership team meetings as needed
• Assist in the coordination of programs, and trips.
• Provide supervision, coaching and support to colleagues when requested
• Coordinate with colleagues to implement student incentive programs
• Provide residential coverage when warranted.
• Ensure coverage is provided.
• Perform other duties as required

Physical Requirements:

• Extensive walking, climbing stairs (up to four flights), standing and sitting for long periods. Reaching, stretching, bending, stooping and other physical efforts required carrying up to 20 pounds.
• Manipulating buttons, zippers, shoelaces, etc. requires fine motor skills to assist student’s dress. 
• Responding quickly in emergencies. Requires fast walking and traversing stairs quickly. 
• The ability to get in and out of a van or school bus as well as the ability to drive a van.
