We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing generators

Pay rate $25-$35 p/h

• Work performed – paid at double time.

Duties

• PM, inspections, and repairs on generators
• Troubleshoot and performs diagnostic testing including alternators, wiring harnesses, safety devices, shutdown, and battery systems.
• Repair and troubleshoot engines engines
• ATS systems and generator controls knowledge
• Maintain records of all services performed, expenses, and billable hours
• Perform other duties assigned

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, and troubleshooting, repairing engines all fuel types, including transfer switches and/or switchgear
• Strong mechanical and electrical skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers of varying levels of technical expertise to explain issues and provide solutions in a professional manner
• Able to read and work with the Electrician's Volts Multimeter
• Must be able to travel- must have a valid and clean Florida Driver’s License
• Must be available and willing to work various shifts, weekends, holidays and participate in on-call rotations
• Must be able to safely operate heavy equipment as well as a forklift in accordance with OSHA regulations
• Ability to work independently with little or no supervision
