Responsibilities

• Develop standardized production, quality, and customer-service standards
• Identify potential risks before they become a problem, focusing on root cause analysis and preventive action
• Perform internal and external quality audits and compile detailed reports of findings
• Build a strong team through coaching, mentoring, specific training and performance evaluations
• Responsible for oversight of Quality Systems, including systems for Change Control, Standard Operating Procedure and Forms, Master Batch Records, Specifications, Calibrations, Sample and Document Retention, Customer Complaints, Audits, Non-Conformances, Deviations and Quality Investigations. Controls the approval of suppliers and materials, controls, and maintains the Master Lists for Formulations, Approved API’s/Suppliers, Inactive Ingredients, and Packaging.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in biology, Chemistry or Pharmacy preferred
• 5 years' relevant work experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry -REQUIRED
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
