We’re hiring Bell Persons / Lobby Attendants to Live. Work. Explore. this summer!

Job Summary :

Greeting guests, transporting luggage, clean public areas, building and maintaining fires in the fireplaces, and assist departments as needed.

The Details :

Position Type : Seasonal

Season Dates : Late-May through mid-September 2024

Pay : $10.30 / hr tips

Schedule : Typical schedule is 40 hours / per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays)

Location : Many Glacier Hotel

Responsibilities

• Greet all arriving / departing guests.
• Transport luggage to and from guest rooms.
• Assist the Guest Services team as directed.
• Answer guests inquiries about the hotel, park, and surrounding areas.
• Clean public areas in lobby, restrooms, and meeting / convention rooms : Trash removal, vacuum, dust, move lobby furniture, etc.
• Build and start fire in fireplaces.
• Follow Company and departmental environmental practices, safety practices, and policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be enthusiastic, friendly and energetic with a genuine desire to provide outstanding service.
• Must be able to work as a team or alone.
• Directly related experience preferred.
• Ability to handle guest concerns in a tactful and caring manner.

• Must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time.
• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling luggage up to 100 pounds.
• Frequent carrying luggage up and down narrow flights of stairs.
• Must be able to bend, kneel, stretch, and reach for extended periods of time.
• Working in various weather conditions.
• Working safely with required chemicals.
