Glasser and Glasser, P.L.C., a well-regarded law firm based in downtown Norfolk, Virginia, is seeking to add a dynamic and motivated Collections Accounting Clerk to join our team! This is an excellent opportunity to join a litigation practice and work in a team-oriented atmosphere while enjoying the benefits of a small law firm.

In office full-time (Norfolk). This is not a remote or hybrid position.

Position duties include but are not limited to:

· Accurately review and post-consumer payments

· Perform reversal and repost

· Issue debtor refund checks

· Voiding checks

· Correspond courteously in a timely manner to internal communication/information request

· Monitor client information sites and take appropriate action or escalate as needed

· Additional collections accounting task as needed

Qualifications

· Knowledge of Microsoft Excel is preferred

· Strong attention to detail

· Ability to complete assigned work timely and accurately

· Self-driven approach to growing responsibilities and individual development, open to changing responsibilities as the role evolves

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
