Description

We are looking for a HR Professional in our Tampa office to join our growing team. Who as a member of our collaborative team, will help provide outstanding client service through creativity and technical expertise. We offer a competitive salary, benefits package and bonus opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Performs a range of staff and/or operational support activities which are sometimes confidential in nature; may serve as a liaison with other departments on basic administrative and/or operational matters.

  • Establishes, maintains, processes, and updates files, records, certificates, and/or other documents.

  • Coordinate and schedule employee physicals, drug screens, etc. both initial hire and annual.

  • Tracks all vacation, sick, jury duty and bereavement leave and maintain accuracy of each.

  • Arranges meetings, conferences, and corporate travel.

  • Coordinates, maintains and tracks requests for training and training expirations, payments of training, calendars and certificates of completion.

  • Tracks and maintains licensing; applications, expirations, renewals, files and tracking sheets for state, county and city licenses as well as individual professional licenses.

  • Coordinates communication with HR Department Manager and processes paperwork for HR as requested.

  • Supports other HR/corporate activities as assigned.

  • Recruiting:

  • Places ads for open positions.

  • Prints resumes, reviews incoming resumes, conducts resume searches to identify appropriate job seekers with skill sets required for position.

  • Sets interview schedules and make travel arrangements for interviewee’s as requested.

  • Maintains relationships with hiring managers and job seekers.

  • Ability to qualify candidates for available opportunities via telephone interviews.

  • Takes inbound calls from candidates, answering questions regarding available opportunities.

  • Coordinates pre-employment activities as needed to include, follow-up, background investigations, drug testing, reference verifications

  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date job and applicant flow information within applicant tracking system.

  • Assist with new hire orientation/onboarding process.

  • Processes new hires in Paycom and HR database, travel profiles, new employee training, exit forms and ongoing HR database maintenance.

  • Draft or prepare responses to routine inquiries; prepares photocopies emails, facsimiles, and operates a variety of office equipment.

  • Helps maintain appearance and upkeep of office.

  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • GED/High School Diploma

  • 1-5 years’ administrative HR/recruiting experience.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Ability to work independently under tight deadlines with meticulous attention to detail.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Must possess excellent organizational and time management skills and have the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Ability to be a dynamic team player and to collaborate effectively with management.

  • This position dictates the need for confidentiality, discretion and accuracy.

  • Familiar with sourcing candidates through the internet and job boards.

  • Must be knowledgeable of MS Word, Excel, working with databases (preferably Access) and working knowledge of social/networking media.
