Glendive Medical Center is Hiring a Long Term Care CNA Coordinator Near Glendive, MT
The CNA Coordinator will Assist nursing staff in coordination of all aspects of care given to the residents. Provides leadership and oversight to CNAs on the unit and assists staff as requested with various tasks. Supervisory Responsibilities:

Duties/Responsibilities:
Assist nurses with supervision of routine nursing care of residents and assist CNAs in completion of their duties correctly and in compliance with regulations.
Assist nurses with overseeing clinical care by compliance rounding to observe resident rooms and common areas.
Always demonstrates an awareness and understanding of resident needs, comfort, and safety.
Safely practices resident care according to facility policies, procedures, and established practices.
Works effectively as a team member in the delivery of care and assists in the orientation of new employees. Maintains good working relations with nursing unit staff and other hospital employees through appropriate communication.
Instills confidence in residents by maintaining a neat appearance and performing duties in a competent and caring manner. Reports observations of residents to the nurse caring for the resident to ensure professional assessment.
Functions as a team member, demonstrating the initiative to assist team members in completing assignments.
With specialized training and written approval, may perform additional and specialized tasks pertinent to the assigned area.
Unit support duties as assigned by DON
Evaluates day to day performance of the CNAs in relation to department objectives and established standards.
Notes employees' performance, both positive and negative, and reports them to their supervisor.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Shows dependability by being punctual; maintains consistent attendance.
Works effectively with others, must possess tact, discretion, and diplomacy
Ability to work under stress and at times complete duties with numerous interruptions
Maintains a safe environment for residents and co-workers.

Education and Experience:
High school graduate preferred.
Successful completion of nursing assistant course or the equivalent.
Previous CNA experience with acceptable references preferred.
Must pass a pre-employment test for nursing assistant.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds at times.
