Glenelg Country School is a non-sectarian, co-educational, college preparatory school serving students from age 2 through grade 12 on 90-acre campus just minutes from Columbia, MD, with approximately 800 students.

Position Summary:
Glenelg Country School seeks a skilled and reliable part-time accompanist to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year. The accompanist will provide piano accompaniment for rehearsals, performances, and music classes while working closely with performing arts teachers, vocalists, and 4th-12th grade choirs to achieve excellent musical outcomes. After school rehearsals and evening performances are a requirement.
Typical Education and Experience:
The successful candidate will have proven experience as an accompanist in an educational or performance setting, and ability to work closely with the instrumental program and performing arts faculty.

Excellent piano playing skills with strong sight-reading abilities.

The employee must be able to lift at least thirty pounds. The employee is also regularly required to climb two flights of stairs.
