Job Overview:
As a Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) at Glenkirk, you will assume a pivotal role in coordinating and overseeing services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Key Responsibilities:
- Individualized Service Planning:
- Develop, implement, and regularly review individualized service plans (ISP) in collaboration with clients, their families, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Ensure that ISP goals align with clients' preferences, needs, and overall well-being.
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Stay informed about and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations governing services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- Prepare for and participate in regulatory inspections and audits.
- Client Advocacy:
- Advocate for the rights and preferences of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- Collaborate with clients and their families to address concerns and facilitate communication with the interdisciplinary team.
- Program Coordination:
- Coordinate and oversee the delivery of services, ensuring that they are consistent with individualized service plans and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor program outcomes and make recommendations for improvement.
- Staff Supervision:
- Supervise and provide guidance to direct support professionals and other relevant staff.
- Facilitate training sessions to ensure staff competency and adherence to established standards.
- Quality Assurance:
- Implement quality assurance measures, including regular assessments, audits, and outcome evaluations.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, etc.) required.
- Certification as a QIDP or eligibility for QIDP certification.
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
