The radiologic technologist will work directly with the radiologist, surgeons, and nurses to perform a variety of diagnostic radiology procedures that require judgment, ingenuity, and radiation protection practices, while responding to any of the patient’s special, physical, emotional, spiritual and/or age-specific related needs.

This position works in collaboration with the Nurse Manager, Service Line Coordinators, and Associate Nurse Manager. This position reports directly to the Nurse Manager with a pass through to the Operations Manager of Medical Imaging for the technical aspects of the position. Performs quality radiographic and fluoroscopic exams with the appropriate technical skills and according to the established procedure protocols in the main operating room of the hospital.

REQUIREMENTS

• Successful completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program1 year of Radiologic technologist experience preferred
• Current BLS Certification
• Current New York State Radiologic Technologist License
• Registered Radiologic Technologist American Registry of Radiologic Technology-ARRT
• American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT)
