Position Description: Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park is looking for a Group Coordinator and base cashier tobook andcoordinate group events at the park. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, be highly organized, maintain flexibility and can effectively communicate across departments.
As the Group Coordinator, you will respond to website inquiries, emails, and calls regarding potential group events. The coordinator is responsible for booking all types of groups including company events, birthday parties, school groups, youth groups, and family reunions.
Responsibilities:
Group Event Coordinator
o Answer customer inquiries regarding event space, availability and pricing. Create a positive relationship with the group leader.
o Quote pricing based on our seasonal group offerings and depending on type of group.
o Work through details of event with group leader, create agreements and collect deposits and final payments. This position is responsible to ensure all groups are paid in full.
o Leads and opportunities are managed in Salesforce, our CRM to ensure an efficient and effective sales process.
o Payments are handled through Siriusware, our point-of-sale system.
o Communication of groups to various departments is handled through group sheets and the GCAP group calendar.
o Greet all groups at the base upon arrival and ensure a smooth check in.
o After group event, follow up with guests for satisfaction and gather feedback via survey.
o Work with accounting manager to create new annual price sheet for groups and ensure that Siriusware is set up for sales.
o Maintain professionalism, diplomacy, and sensitivity to portray the company in a positive manner.
o Partner with Food & Beverage Manager during planning stages of group and day of event.
o Work with Community Engagement rep to receive leads and respond accordingly.
o Work with Base Manager to schedule group check ins and support cashiering schedule.
o Run monthly reports in Salesforce measuring success and finding opportunities to improve.
Qualifications:
· Able to interpret both written & verbal instructions.
· Positive attitude, and ability to get along with others and stay flexible.
· Be able to follow the “Love Works” philosophy.
· Very strong, verbal and written, communication.
· Outstanding customer service.
· Listen to and follow direction accurately.
· 2-3 years of previous customer service experience, preferably in the hospitality industry.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
