• Identify the ideal product for the client based on their specific needs, review space and area measurements, calculate material requirements, create estimates and proposals, and ensure quality control throughout the project.
• Keep up to date on the wide selection of products and services provided.
• Manage time to prospect for new business.
• Collaborate with the team to achieve a successful outcome for the client.
• Build strong client relationships and ensure follow-up is completed on all jobs
• Communicate with vendors to determine product specifications.
• Keep the showroom organized and inviting by maintaining neat, up-to-date, and clean samples, displays, and common areas.

• Appreciation for Interior Design and Flooring
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• A fundamental understanding of computer and mathematical skills is required.
• A positive attitude and desire to exceed expectations
• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision while effectively collaborating within a team setting
• Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills, coupled with strong personal and professional judgment.
• Ability to adapt and respond quickly to customers’ needs and wants
• Organizational skills and the flexibility to jump from priority to priority
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Advanced time management skills
• Professional telephone etiquette

• Experience in Flooring/Home Furnishings Retail Sales
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
• Ability to operate a forklift a plus (Willing to train)
• Ability to read floor plan drawings & create project estimates a plus (Willing to train)
• Knowledge of RFMS & Measure Square a plus (Willing to train)
