Flooring Measure Technician
Glenwood Springs Carpet One Floor Home in Glenwood Springs, CO is looking to hire a Flooring Measure Technician to join their dynamic team. As a Flooring Measure Technician, you will work closely with our sales and installation teams to ensure accurate quotes are provided to clients, creating a seamless and satisfying customer experience.Glenwood Springs Carpet One Floor Home is a family-operated and owned business within the community for 45 years. Duties

• Conduct on-site visits to assess flooring needs and measure spaces accurately.
• Collaborate with the sales team to recommend suitable flooring products and materials.
• Provide bids with minimal exclusions, oversight or mistakes.
• Utilize industry software and tools to generate precise and competitive estimates, considering factors such as labor, materials, and additional services.
• Create detailed digital floor diagrams. Inspect the job site to determine the need for products in the flooring installation process.
• Prioritize and complete bids on time.
• General knowledge of flooring materials and accessories.
• Ability to learn from mistakes and analyze how to make improvements in future projects.
• Effectively respond to questions about take-offs from sales professionals and customers.

Requirements

• Experience with Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.
• Valid driver’s License and reliable transportation.
• Possess knowledge experience with construction takeoff software or the ability to quickly learn new computer programs.
• Create detailed digital floor diagrams. Inspect the job site to determine the need for products in the flooring installation process. .
• Ability to work independently under minimal supervision, yet within a team setting.
• Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
• Strong personal and professional judgment.
• Organizational skills and the flexibility to jump from priority to priority
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Advanced time management skills

• Ability to read floor plan drawings create project estimates a plus (Willing to train)
• Knowledge of flooring design industry a plus (Willing to train)
