Nanny

Florence, AL (Sherwood Forest Subdivision)

About the Family: We are a welcoming family residing in the Sherwood Forest Subdivision of Florence, Alabama, seeking a nurturing and experienced nanny to care for our six-month-old daughter. We also have a friendly dog, so comfort with pets is essential. The ideal candidate will be passionate about childcare, dependable, and eager to contribute positively to our family's daily life.

Job Description: As our nanny, you will focus on providing attentive and loving care to our daughter in a safe and supportive environment. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supervising our daughter consistently
  • Preparing bottles and meals for her
  • Maintaining a structured daily schedule, including nap and playtimes
  • Light housekeeping duties related to our daughter’s care, such as laundry and tidying her room
  • Engaging in developmental activities suitable for her age
  • Providing occasional care for our dog
  • Ensuring safety during all activities, both at home and outdoors

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in infant care with references
  • First Aid and CPR certification
  • Willingness to undergo a comprehensive background check
  • Comfort with dogs
  • A valid driver’s license and dependable transportation
  • High school diploma or equivalent; further training in child development preferred
  • Legal authorization to work in the country
  • Flexible, reliable, and with a positive outlook

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $10.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18 – 30 per week
