Qualifications And Skills
A Master's degree in biology or related disciplines, or a Bachelor's degree with 2 additional years of experience.
Experience in cell culture, either in an academic or industry setting, is required.
Proficient in iPSC handling, with a strong interest, knowledge, and experience in neuroscience or rare disease research.
Excellent analytical thinking skills with the ability to articulate and synthesize complex issues effectively.
Demonstrated creativity, curiosity, and adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Proven track record of collaboration and networking across different functions and with internal and external partners.
Good organizational skills, adhering to standard operating procedures with attention to detail.
Responsibilities
Contribute to the development and optimization of in vitro differentiation protocols to produce iPSC-derived cell types, particularly iPSC-derived neurons.
Support the development of disease phenotype-specific molecular and functional assays in cell types differentiated from human pluripotent stem cells.
Collaborate with the team to conduct gene editing in iPSC-derived cells.
Assist in the day-to-day maintenance of cell cultures of various types.
