Experience Requirement
- 7 years of experience in agency, startup, or early-stage product environments designing consumer-facing digital experiences, particularly with new-to-market products.
- Proficient in collaborating with cross-functional teams, working closely with product managers and engineers.
- Ability to translate insights and data into design decisions that impact product and business strategies.
- Expertise in creating successful and engaging experiences across various platforms (iOS, Android, Mobile web).
- Demonstrated experience in leading other designers through design mentorship and setting a positive example.
- Strong skills in UX, information hierarchy, and customer journey mapping.
- Proficient in visual design with a keen attention to detail.
- Capable of quickly iterating and generating multiple concepts and solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate and defend design decisions effectively.
- Skillful in using design tools such as Figma, Zeplin, and Jira.
- Collaborate closely with team leads and internal stakeholders to develop empathetic, simple, and human-centric design solutions that define our product experience.
- Work with fellow designers to produce conceptual wireframes, prototypes, and final designs for consumer-facing websites and mobile apps, considering user needs, business objectives, and technical limitations.
- Take ownership of product features from inception to launch, ensuring the delivery of meaningful and high-quality experiences.
- Contribute to the development, implementation, and upkeep of a design system to maintain a consistent brand experience across all digital touchpoints.
- Encourage innovation by asking insightful questions, taking calculated risks, and advocating for fresh ideas to enhance the user experience.
- Provide and receive feedback from other designers, product management, and engineering teams during regular reviews and standup meetings.
- Engage in design workshops to explore creative solutions for challenges and opportunities identified through research and data.
