DescriptionAs a Network Performance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in optimizing and troubleshooting network performance. This position requires a strong background in RF engineering, with a focus on network performance as a primary responsibility. You will be expected to travel approximately 80% of the time to support your responsibilities and may need to lift up to 25 lbs while performing your duties. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, with more than 6 years of relevant experience, or 10 years of relevant work experience.
Knowledge of IP theory, planning, configuration, integration, testing, and security is preferred.
Cisco Certified Network Associate certification is preferred.
Demonstrated knowledge of radio access networks, including the management of radio network functions, parameters, key performance indicators (KPIs), and counters.
Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively.
Ability to work collaboratively with different functional groups and levels of employees to achieve results.
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize duties effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Perform system verification testing, integration, commissioning, and optimization; obtain customer acceptance and onboarding.
Analyze and summarize test data to evaluate performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and optimize networks to meet contracted KPIs.
Conduct comprehensive audits of networks to ensure data accuracy, adherence to established standards, and compliance.
Prepare comprehensive reports and initiate projects to maintain sites in compliance with standard of care guidelines.
Evaluate and plan for capital improvements over the life cycle of the networks to effectively utilize capital improvement budgets.
