- To succeed in this role, you should have at least 2 years of experience. Additionally, you must possess strong computer skills, including proficiency in advanced Excel functions such as pivot tables and vlookups. Previous experience in a luxury fashion or retail environment, particularly with samples and samples management, is preferred. Proficiency in inventory tracking/management and client-facing customer service is essential. You should also demonstrate excellent time management, organizational skills, multitasking ability, adaptability to change, and problem-solving skills.
- As a Showroom Display Clerk, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Showroom Management and Schedule Coordination: Efficiently manage the showroom and coordinate schedules.
- Sample Organization: Supervise the organization, labeling, tracking, and inventory of all received samples.
- Customer Travel Planning: Plan customer travel to the NYC showroom events.
- Showroom Maintenance: Oversee your newly renovated NYC flagship showroom.
- Sample Support: Assist in providing samples for customer meetings, brand training, and PR events.
- Samples Calendar Maintenance: Maintain a local samples calendar to coordinate sample shipments to and from meetings, tradeshows, trunk shows, and buying days.
