Experienced Cash Claims Processor Opportunity
Requirements
Analyze insurance claim payments in the AS/400 system to match with the correct claim
Continuously enhance research methods to optimize transaction processing
Conduct various transactions such as applying cash, handling member bills, resubmitting invoices, and processing write-offs
Adhere to data processing guidelines to meet departmental standards
Maintain timely communication with supervisors regarding processed transactions
Employment Type: Full-Time
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in applying cash to medical claims
- Availability from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Proficiency in using mainframe computers, particularly AS400 systems
- Familiarity with third-party benefits and administration
- Ability to maintain a minimum keystroke rate of 10,000 per hour with an error rate below 2%
- Strong attention to detail
- Capable of working effectively in both team-based and individual settings
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Commitment to upholding confidentiality and integrity standards
- High school diploma or equivalent
