Qualifications And Requirements
- To qualify for the Remote App Systems Analyst Specialist role, candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in systems and programming. A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience is required. Expert working knowledge of at least one programming language is essential.
- Candidates should have proven skills in information technology, analysis, design, and coding. Demonstrated success in leading large and complex projects is vital. The ability to interpret and communicate technical concepts effectively to team members and business personnel is key. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks with a strong work ethic are necessary.
- The ideal candidate will have significant experience with writing and analyzing SQL, Microsoft SQL Server and SSIS, C# .Net, Vue/React, RESTful and SOAP services, and quality coding practices such as the SOLID methodology and Unit and Integration testing. General knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, and network security including Firewalls, IDS, and Encryption is preferred.
- The Remote App Systems Analyst Specialist will be responsible for formulating and defining system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to design, develop, modify, or integrate complex information systems. They will devise or modify application systems and procedures to optimize functional requirements. The role involves designing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting programs, subroutines, and scripts. The Specialist may serve in project team roles such as project lead, business systems analyst, or technical lead for small to medium efforts, or manage phases of medium to large efforts. Additionally, they will maintain a technical skill set for software languages, databases, platforms, operating systems, utilities, and networks essential for their work assignments. Responding to system failures and performance events by taking appropriate measures to reduce system downtime and providing guidance and training to less-experienced analysts/programmers will also be part of the responsibilities.
- This remote position is open in the following states: Tennessee, Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, South Carolina, Texas, Utah, Virginia, and Wisconsin. Please note that there is a COVID-19 vaccine mandate for this role.
