Senior Network Data Engineer Opportunity
Location:
This role is open to individuals in Charlotte, Broomfield, CO, Chicago, IL, Denver, CO, Iselin, NJ, Lewisville, TX, and New York, NY, USA. The position offers a hybrid work model, with 2/3 days spent in the office.
Requirements

• Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in data manipulation using Microsoft Excel for at least 3 years.
• Familiarity with SAS, SQL, Python, SPSS, R, or similar applications for data manipulation.
• Advanced skills in statistical analysis, Machine Learning modeling, and Deep Learning modeling.
• Experience working with the Snowflake warehousing platform.
• Knowledge of Reinforcement Learning, including MDP, Policy Optimization algorithm, and Dynamic Programming algorithm (a plus).
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and ETL tools like Kettle, MS SSIS, Alteryx, KNIME, etc.
• Experience in programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, and R.
• Hands-on experience in data analytics and interpreting statistical models.
• Background in working with extensive databases.
• Ability to work in a matrix structure and effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in financial services-related data management and reporting.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, planning, organizational, and project management skills.
• Excellent innovation, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex insights for non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Analyze trends identified from modeling to inform various business units such as peer Analytical teams, Enterprise Monitoring teams, and Business Management Office.
• Develop data mining models, statistical reporting, and data analysis methodologies to detect network anomalies and facilitate network optimization through data-driven decisions.
• Collaborate with different business areas to project the outcomes of potential business strategies.
• Present data analysis to members of the Senior Leadership Team.
• Utilize customer, market, and strategic research to support strategic planning initiatives.
• Work closely with data insights groups, IT, and business intelligence units.
• Manage large, complex projects or processes independently while ensuring accurate findings and results with the team.
